These special event at the Imperial War Museum Duxford this Easter will be a display to experience what life was like for children in the Second World War.
Here you can see what children played with in the 1940s and have a go at some wartime games. You can discover what it was like to eat when food was rationed and see everyday household objects like gas masks and an evacuee’s suitcase, discover what Easter was like in the 1940s.
All this takes place in the Conservation Hall in AirSpace where you will also have the opportunity between 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM to make and paint an Airfix model. (Subject to availability)
